MASSAGE, THAI FOOT MASSAGE, HOPI EAR CANDLING

Massage

Most of us experience stress in varying levels on a day-to-day basis. Stress is not good for the health because it makes our muscles tense and bunch up, causing pain. Also, it makes the organs of our body function under duress. That is never good.

Touch is a very important part of human contact. It helps us feel connected and loved by those around us.

Massage uses touch through rubbing and kneading parts of the body to aid circulation, and relax the muscles.

Massage is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy. The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.

Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that involves hands on stretching and massage to open energy lines, along with stimulating the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body. Thai Foot Massage stimulates these points to promote general health and well-being.

Hopi Ear Candles

This is an ancient and natural therapy. It is believed that the Ancient Greeks used ear candles, initially probably for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual basis. However, the practice reached the modern world via the native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona.

The candles work on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. They equalise the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions. Secretion flow is gently stimulated and vapour collects and removes impurities or deposits. Most of these are carried away through the candle, although some of them can be found in the condensed candle wax residue after removal from the ear, or could even work their way up to the surface 24-48 hours after.
